About Teresa

 

Teresa Turner grew up in a family of symphony

and studio musicians. At the age of five she

began taking piano lessons from her grandfather,

a member of the Chicago Symphony. She has

studied classical and jazz piano with the renowned

Los Angeles pianist and teacher, Terry Trotter.

 

Teresa began teaching piano over 20 years ago.

She gives private lessons in the homes of her

students and enjoys teaching people of all ages.

Her students range in age from 5 to 90 years old. 

 

In addition to teaching, Teresa also performs

professionally as a jazz vocalist with her trio

and as a solo piano player at clubs, restaurants and private events in Southern California.
